Elvis Chitsungo - Director
Elvis Chitsungo is a seasoned educationist who has worked for both the government and the NGO sector. He has over 15 years working experience in Education and rose through the ranks from an Education Officer in government and Programmes Manager, Team Lead - Education, General Manager and Executive Director - Strategic Partnership in the NGO.. He is currently the Director for Education Coalition of Zimbabwe.

Evelyn Wadzanayi Chitiga -Programs Manager
Wadzanayi is a seasoned development practitioner, who combines social work and education passions into over 10 years of social change. She has worked at ECOZI for 7 years as a program officer overseeing projects tackling issues of quality, gender sensitive and inclusive education delivery in disadvantaged communities Wadzanayi has also led advocacy efforts engaging key policy players such as parliamentarians, directors within the government offices and school development committees. She has also engaged at National and Transnational advocacy forums

Nomatter Kuhwehwe - Finance Manager
Nomatter has worked with ECOZI since its inception as a Finance Officer. She prepares financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders and financial planning in terms of budgeting and resource utilization.She ensures accountability for resources and that they are used for the intended agreed purpose with funding partners through budget- expenditure analysis, audits and adaptive management to cater for arising circumstances beyond the organisation’s control.

Ashley Mamvocha - Project Officer
Ashley is a Child Rights Advocate experienced in proposal development ,project planning ,implementation ,project management ,research ,development of reports and dissemination of information/findings .Experienced in Advocating for child friendly national budget increment ,alignment of child's rights frameworks to regional and global frameworks and enforcements of laws into practice .Accomplished facilitator who has delivered training on child rights frameworks capacitation ,safe guarding trainings ,conflict resolution ,reporting and feedback mechanisms. A Qualified Social Worker experienced in conducting assessments (Child & Family, Risk, and needs). Experienced in Developing Plans for children ( Child in Need, Child Care and Child Protection) as well as safety planning for children. Liaise and working with other professionals/ agencies in achieve optimal outcomes for children. Recording of information, mantaining upto date case files and compiling evidence-based reports. .

Lazarus Nyamwiwa - MEAL Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning)
Lazarus is a Monitoring and Evaluation expert with 12 years experience in implementing M&E systems,designing tools and templates to monitor the effectiveness of project initiatives,achievements and sustainability of results,including improved reading outcomes.He has worked extensively in the Health and Education sector.At ECOZI,he plays a leading role in providing support,advice and an oversight on programme level monitoring,evaluation,learning and accountability

Caroline Gladys Chikura -Communications and Advocacy Officer
Caroline is a passionate Communications and Advocacy Officer at the Education Coalition of Zimbabwe (ECOZI), where she leads efforts to amplify the voices of marginalized communities and promote inclusive, equitable education for all. With a strong background in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy, Caroline plays a key role in shaping narratives that influence positive change in Zimbabwe’s education sector. Beyond her work at ECOZI, Caroline is a dedicated digital skills trainer, empowering women and girls with the tools they need to bridge the gender divide in technology. She is committed to using storytelling, digital platforms, and community-based advocacy to drive social impact and ensure that no one is left behind.

Mutsa Mvududu - Project Officer
Mutsa Mvududu is the Project Officer at the Education Coalition of Zimbabwe (ECOZI), where she leads programmatic initiatives that promote inclusive, quality education across the country. With a background in Information Systems Management, Mutsa brings a unique blend of technical expertise and educational advocacy to her work. She is passionate about digitalizing schools and leveraging technology to transform education in Zimbabwe. Her work focuses on building resilient, tech-driven learning environments that ensure every child regardless of background has access to quality education. Mutsa is committed to driving innovation, strengthening systems, and creating sustainable solutions .

Tafadzwa Brighton Jamu - Finance Assistant
Tafadzwa is an enthusiastic Finance Assistant with 3 years experience in providing support to financial record’s maintenance, accounts management and a variety of corporate financial tasks. At ECOZI, he plays vital roles in financial data entry, payroll processing, audit’s verification processes, budgets development, payments processing, reconciling bank statements and utilization of accounting software.

Keith Yeukai Katoma - Student intern
Keith is a Student Intern at the Education Coalition of Zimbabwe (ECOZI), having joined the organization in January 2025. She is passionate about education development, advocacy, and community engagement. As an intern, Keith supports various programs and communications efforts, gaining hands-on experience in the NGO sector while contributing meaningfully to ECOZI’s mission of promoting inclusive and equitable quality education in Zimbabwe. Eager to grow professionally, Keith is committed to learning, collaborating, and using her voice to champion access to education for all.
